The merchant's treasury
A spectacular theater show for the entire primary school. The production is a combination of puppetry and stage. The merchant on the mainland asks the captain if he wants to collect his treasury on a desert island far away. It's a secret, no one is allowed to know. The captain goes on a journey with his crew. Maatje always sits in the crow's nest on the captain's ship. Because the weather is so nice, he decides to go to sleep.
What he doesn't know is that a heavy southwester is rushing behind the ship and causing the ship to wreck with all hands. Maatje survives the ship disaster and fished the captain's treasure map out of the water. When he goes to see if the map is still there, the captain comes. He's angry with buddy. Thanks to him the ship has wrecked. Worse still.. He stole his treasure map.
Then the exciting and humorous adventure begins. In the end everything turns out fine and the merchant gets his treasury.
